We are pleased to inform you that the Workshop on “Things and facts you may not know about Bill of Lading” held in October 2024 was a success with full house and enthusiastic response . Many people were unable to attend due to the limited number of seats.

In view of this, the Institute is to going to rerun (with same content) the Workshop this year. Details are as follows:

Content:
Is it a must to issue 3 original B/L as one set? Is it necessary to issue a clean B/L when there are remarks on the mate’s receipt? Is it a must for the notify party to endorse on the B/L when the box of consignee is named ‘To order’?

Believe it or not, the answers to all questions above are false!

Bill of lading is one of the most important shipping documents in our field, but many of us have some wrong concepts and misunderstandings on B/L even if you are dealing with it every day. This workshop will share the things and facts you may not know about B/L.

Cantonese; supplemented by English
Presentation material in English
