The Institute of Seatransport has established its roles and status through the organization of visits, talks, seminars, courses, and events such as networking and conferences for professions in the maritime industry. Over the years the Institute has successfully established itself as a multidisciplinary platform among government authorities, professionals and academics for the maritime industry alike.
The Institute of Seatransport has reached its 40th anniversary in 2024 and several activities have been organized for the celebration, and a Gala Dinner to conclude the events. Preceding the Gala-dinner, a seminar is organized, rundown of the event is as follows:

Seminar: 4 pm to 5 pm
Cocktail reception: 5 pm to 6:30 pm
Gala-dinner: 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
